MAFULA Lodge is situated in the most dense Marula tree area in the world. This magnificent game ranch near Lephalale (Ellisras) hosts Giraffe, Eland, Kudu, Waterbuck, Blue Wildebeest. Red Hartebeest, Gemsbok (Oryx), Kudu, Impala, Blesbok, Burchell's Zebra, Ostrich, Duiker, Steenbok and Warthog. Local predators include Brown Hayena, Caracal (Lynx), Black Backed Jackal, Bat Eared Fox and various smaller cats. Occasional visitors to the ranch includes Leopard, Cheetah and Bushpig.
The ranch is malaria free and situated in the summer rainfall area with an average rainfall of 450mm per annum. Temperatures average between 17 and 37 degrees centigrade. The ranch is 950 metres above sea level, relatively flat with reddish sandy soil on the surface and clay below. The animals graze on Soetveld also know as Rooibos veldt, Maroela and Knoppiesdoring veldt as well as the well known Acacia veldt.
Accommodation is luxurious with on-suite facilities. You can swim in one of the five pools to cool off in the summer heat or warm yourself in the jacuzzi. Other activities to enjoy includes hiking, birding and game viewing. The ranch is ideal for corporate functions, strategic planning sessions, conferences as well as wedding

The main lodge accommodates 20 people. In addition to the main lodge, the ranch also have a fully equiped house accommodating 8 people, two hunters' chalets accommodate 6 people each as well as two hunters' huts each accommodating 4 hunters.
The main lodge includes a spacious room suited for conferences as well as weddings, a dining room, as well as a lounge with a fully licensed bar and DSTV.
